Q: What is the difference between Wi-Fi and WiMax services ?
  Wi-Fi is wireless Local Area Network technology that goes only several feet. WiMax is a Metropolitan area wide technology standard that is capable of delivering secure and reliable service over several miles.
Q: Does weather effect the wireless signal ?
No. Weather does not effect our signal because we broadcast over high frequencies from local towers.
Q: Is wireless secure ?
Yes, actually wireless is very secure. NetX connections use a minimum 256 bit encryption and are secure for use in Department of Defense, SEC and HIPPA compliant applications.
Q: Can I add additional bandwidth to a NetX connection ?
Yes. You can upgrade your connection with just a phone call and in moments you will have additional bandwidth.
Q: Will a NetX link interfere with other wireless signals ?
No.  We broadcast on very high microwave frequencies in the licensed and unlicensed bands, where other signals do not interfere.
Q: Is NetX a satellite system ?
No. Our service is a ground based wireless system that broadcasts from local towers and buildings.
Q: How fast can you install my service ?
  Generally service is installed in 3 to 5 business days after signing the contract.
Q: Is a NetX wireless connection as dependable as T-1 service?
 More dependable for the simple fact there are no wires involved that could accidentally be cut.
